Give children and young people, living in the streets of El Jadida, a place in the society from which they are excluded.
Support them in the development and realization of their life project.
Reconstruct a family atmosphere within the center for children living on the street and often separated from their family.
Take into consideration the role of the child’s family in their reintegration.
Strengthen the autonomy of children and young people.
Focus on the skills that children have developed on the streets.
Value the child and encourage their participation.
Work in coordination with the different delegations (teaching, professional training, youth and sports, national assistance)
We must further expand our action because we are in the triangle of poverty and marginalization of the city of El-Jadida (Al-Qala lala Al-Zahra essouk lakdim). Moreover, the number of arrivals is increasing every day.
Children in precarious situations: where do they come from?
These children are aged 6 to 17 and the causes of their stay on the street are very diverse:
poverty
begging
school failure
urbanization and rural exodus
orphans or in a single-parent family
corruption and injustice (children having suffered physical or moral abuse and fleeing their homes)
